PLA Cast Filament is a specialized, low-ash PLA filament designed for industrial-grade investment casting (lost-wax casting). Printed parts serve directly as casting patterns; after being encased in refractory slurry and fired at high temperatures, the model burns away completely, leaving minimal ash residue that does not compromise the integrity of the casting mold cavity. Offering high dimensional accuracy and structural strength, this material significantly shortens the lead time for metal casting mold development. It is widely used for rapid prototyping and small-batch production of metal parts, including hardware components, precision castings (aluminum, brass, stainless steel), impellers, valves, and jewelry.
